The Garrick—LSE’s cafe—outperforms Alice’s by a million. See that beautifully poured milk in my cappuccino? You won’t see the likes of that at SIPA’s 6th floor cafe.
To clarify, the MPA programme at LSE is small enough that we don’t actually have our own cafe. Maybe Brownie’s is a closer comparison, but the Garrick still wins. The food they serve for lunch here is pretty good too, and they give good deals if you top up (prepay) your student account.
- The sandwich is from a local supermarket. It was good, but not filling. Hunger ensued.
- Apologies for my cruddy photos of late. My camera broke right after Paris… so I’ve been taking all these photos on my phone.
